10 Days Chimp Safari

Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival and transfer to the Windsor Golf Club Hotel.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Depart Nairobi Northward bound driving past pineapple coffee, bananas plantation to one of the largest open air markets in East and Central Africa Karatina. A brief stop to sample the marketware and interact with the local community from the largest tribe in Kenya, the Kikuyu. Proceed to the Sweetwaters Game Reserve and Chimp Sanctuary, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch take a game drive and visit the chimps in the 1km² sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to more than 26 orphaned chimps age varying from 2 -25 years most of which came from Jane Goodall Institute in Burundi.Return to Nairobi in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi - Nakuru
After breakfastcommence your journey from to Lake Nakuru with lunch en route arriving late afternoon. Evening game viewing; overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara
Depart Southward along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Narok and then climb the Western wall entering Hemingway country arriving late afternoon at the Mara Game Reserve. Game viewing enroute to Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara
A full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills that make the famous Mara. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Pre- breakfast game drive from 0630-0930 hrs, back to the lodge for late breakfast and depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Bomas of Kenya
After an early breakfast, you'll leave for Bomas of Kenya to visit the Cultural activities taking place, different ethnics tribal groups performs here daily to promote our diversify culture. Various cultural groups including the Kikuyu, Luo, Luhya, etc., communities will entertain you with music, dancing and story telling. Spend the whole day with the communities at the Bomas of Kenya, returning to the Hotel in the evening.

Day 8 & 9: Nairobi - Tsavo West
Very early morning leave Nairobi and drive South past Kapiti Plains arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. Explore the Tsavo West Park in the afternoon and return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. Spend these two days visiting the Mzima Springs which are not far from the lodge, where there is an underwater viewing chamber to give you a view of sub-marine activities. You will also tour the Shetani Lava Flows and the Chyulu caves and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary at the base of Ngulia Hills.

Day 10: Departure
Return to Nairobi after breakfast
